Being from Miami is central to Typoe's identity—it shaped how he was raised and informs everything he creates. His goal is to be the master of his craft and to experience everything in life, which connects directly to the concept of living beyond labels.

For the Beck's label, Typoe created a design featuring florals—symbols of beautiful memorials and a way of remembering people he has lost. The work reflects his ongoing practice of transforming destructive things into something beautiful, finding light in darkness and creating meaning from loss.
