Toys for Boys Celebrates Typoe at Faena

Toys for Boys magazine hosted a celebration for Miami-born multidisciplinary artist Typoe at the exclusive Saxony Bar at Faena Hotel in Miami Beach.

The event merged art, nightlife, and lifestyle publishing to usher in the summer season. Typoe's signature bird installations decorated the swanky lounge, while an exclusive interview conducted by contributor Erin Newberg was made available to guests.

The curated bar featured Zacapa Rum, Don Julio Tequila, and Hilhaven Lodge Whiskey, along with a virgin signature cocktail called "Shirley Typoe." DJ Gabby Mejia provided music throughout the evening.

Approximately 100 local influencers and tastemakers attended, including photographer Camilo Rios White, artist Carlos Betancourt, architect James Wall, and basketball player Rudy Gay.

Guests departed with copies of Toys for Boys Issue 10, signaling the start of an active summer season in Miami.
