Sculpture Garden

The Underline, Miami, FL · 2022

Miami's answer to New York's High Line, running beneath the Metrorail tracks instead of above them. Funded by Airbnb and Nasdaq with no city money, the project was developed in collaboration with Primary, the agency Defy, and EstudioLAAVA. The sculptures are Typoe's signature forms realized in three dimensions, built with fiberglass resin and airplane grade paint chosen for their durability in Miami's outdoor climate. Conceived as a love letter to the city, the work draws on childhood memories of playing in parks with public sculpture, now offering the same experience to the next generation.
